I’ll Find Another Way To Be Happier One Day; You Remind Me Of The Person I Cannot Be

August 23, 2009

March 10, 2009:
8:36PM:

you don’t know the color of my eyes

whenever i allow myself to think about love, i think of .. the horizon out at the sea. that line far out; evasive, impossibly out of reach, tentatively beautiful. maybe it wasn’t the stupidest thing to do, if once upon a time people believed the earth was flat. maybe the worse one could do instead was to give out one too many chances, like five sen candies. and to underestimate one’s worth. and to give the benefit of doubt, over and over again.

maybe the worst possible thing to do would be to fall for the wrong person.

You Could Have Loved Me Better

August 21, 2009

i took a personality quiz :) tagged by michelle:

Your view on yourself:
You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don’t like conflict. Because you’re so cheerful and fun, people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You are not looking merely for a girl/boyfriend — you are looking for your life partner. Perhaps you should be more open-minded about who you spend time with. The person you are looking for might hide their charm under their exterior.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you meet that person.

The seriousness of your love:
You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that’s why you’ll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education:
You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.

The right job for you:
You have many goals and want to achieve as much as you can. The jobs you enjoy are those that let you burn off your considerable excess energy.

How do you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It’s time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:
You are full of energy and confidence. You are unpredictable, with moods changing as quickly as an ocean. You might occasionally be calm and still, but never for long.

well, better than telling me that the person i secretly love deep down inside is named “james.” i still don’t know any james.

Facebook Quizzes

August 18, 2009

the first one i took told me that i’ll have my next relationship in a year.

the second one told me the name of the person i love deep down inside is James.

the third one was the “What Do People Say Behind Your Back?” quiz. and the answer was: they think i’m hot.

and apparently, my name depicts me as someone warm, gentle, lovely and good to have around. … stop laughing. i know what i am. i’m manipulative, independent; i can be warm when i want to but mostly i’m slick and sarcastic, but i guess i’m good to have around sometimes.

okay so who is this James guy?

seriously!

I Got My Head Checked By A Jumbo Jet; It Wasn’t Easy But Nothing Is

May 25, 2009

i’m at a really good place in my life right now.

i enjoy college. i enjoy the whole rush of getting ready in the morning, and then rushing to get out of the house, and rushing to get to college in time. i enjoy, on the rare occasions of arriving early, bumping into the randomest of friends and sitting down for gossips and updates and coffee. i like walking around and seeing friends everywhere that i don’t actually feel the need to avoid. i like the lessons. i like the fact that nobody around me talks about exams all the time, or worry about grades, or always seem to be reading educational materials. i like the fact that we can talk about clothes and take retarded pictures in class .. and next moment, start discussing karl marx theories and pros and cons of capitalism vs. communism.

you know what:

it’s honestly unfair to assume that all mass comm students are flighty and vain and full of themselves. i don’t think it’s an easy, second-rate course; i dare anyone at all to come up and walk a mile in my green heels, and at the end of the day (with blisters on your feet), tell me that mass comm is a ’simple’ course full of people who either didn’t have the grades to make it for other courses, or people who just don’t know what to do with their lives.

i don’t think mass comm is a program for just anyone and everyone.

:)

i think mass comm takes real guts and determination and a lot of attitude. i think the industry will be catty and competitive, demanding and driven. i admit that physical appearance will play a major role, but i believe a strong command on language is also necessary. i know i’ll have to put in long hours at work, and when i’m out of work i’ll probably have to be social networking. but most of all, i believe it is important to possess people skills … which obviously, is not a skill that just about anyone and everyone have.

OKAY WHY DO I SOUND LIKE A COCKFIGHTING DEBATOR.

rant ends here.

edit:

happy 20th birthday faisal the awesome *coughwtfcough*

:) :) :)

i know you liked the suprise.

or at least pretended you did!
