Hey Look It’s Me
Hi. I often notice that my blog ratings drop considerably when my posts lack pictures (unless I’m a truly terrible blogger/writer?). So here you go, this is how I look like in pop art colors!!! WOAH!
Allow me to entertain you with scintillating details of my productive Monday! The term ‘productive’ is used loosely. Parents wake me up early (9AM is pretty early). I tag along in the car while my father heads off to the office, we drop him off at the bus terminal so he can catch a ride back to JB where his project is based, me and my mother end up at Leisure Mall whereabouts. After a visit the nearby Perodua branch, we eat brunch. We drive back home. I decide to take a shower (this happens once every two days) (sadly, I don’t really have a life… so I don’t really need to shower). At 3PM, we pick up my younger sister from school and then shoot off to IKEA. My mother shops. We heavily debate the merits of Bookshelf A vs Bookshelf B vs (it continues).
We grab an early dinner at the IKEA cafe! We end up buying Bookshelf A (as is often the case).
Boyf picks me up and we watch Men In Black 3 at Mid V!!! The movie is average, so I guess I don’t recommend it much. (Spoiler: Andy Warhol is an alien in MIB 3. I thought that was pretty interesting.) We drop by the mamak nearby my place, hang out for a bit before he sends me back home.
Where I currently am. Right now. At home, I mean.
See, isn’t this fun?!!
We should do this more often!!!
Now Reading:
… Wuthering Heights by Emily Bronte.
Yes, do expect me to get into my old English habits of drinking tea at all odd hours and constructing elaborate sentences and daydreaming of the epic byronic hero.
Oh, Heathcliffe!
…
Can’t wait to watch Wuthering Heights (2011), the film adaptation by Andrea Arnold! Kaya Scodelario plays Catherine and of course isn’t she exactly how Cathy should look like?
Happy Mother’s Day!
Headed all the way out to Seri kembangan for lunch – at a place called ‘Restoran Kien Kee’. Must be pretty famous for it to register on GPS, plus there were all these newspaper clippings and stuff! We had claypot ayam kampung, tofu, and chicken pepper soup – one of my mother’s favorite dish ever.
Later: we dropped by Aeon for some grocery shopping and etc.
Why My Mother Is More Awesome Than Your Mother: She bought me books! YES. My mother doesn’t do girly mother-daughter bonding stuff like buy me clothes or give me baking lessons or talk to me about boys – instead she buys me books. She’s been buying me books all my life… which is great, because books are expensive. My mother basically instilled my love for reading – and subsequently, my passion for writing.
I don’t say it very often but I do love my mother. We may not get along very well, but… yeah. She’s my mother.
Mmhmm.
Also,
DAMNIT I accidentally bought the wrong liners. :’( I meant to get black and red eyeliner – I ended up paying for brown eyeliner and red lip liner. I don’t know how these things can only happen to me.
Stayed at Aeon till like past 6PM, and then we had steamboat for dinner! :D
That’s pretty much it.
Here’s a couple of webcamwhore pictures of me in case you’ve forgotten how I look like:
BOOM.
SHA KA LA KA.
Okay bye.
Alas I Cannot Swim
I’m not especially likable, I think. Over the years I seem to have become more and more of an introvert – unless work dictates otherwise. We can conclude that I simply got sick&tired of pretending to be Miss Everything… or I just lost interest in my surroundings completely. More often than not I wonder why everyone is so stupid; so maybe we can conclude that I… I don’t like people. Simple.
I don’t like people.
I don’t like a lot of things.
All I really want to do is nothing much in particular.
I’ve just been lusting over these galaxy prints.
Beauties.
Meow
Fuck uni. I just want to give up on my super ambitions and be a cat.
Yes, that’s right.
A cat.
Meow.
She’s A Grown Up Disney Princess

Headband – F21
Shades – Cotton On
Cropped Dumbo Tee – Disney
Bag – MNG
Skirt – Sg. Wang!
Heels – shoeshaven89
Way into cropped tees these days. Mind you, the t-shirt is original Disney product from Australia… it was a gift. But I’ve only worn it, like, twice altogether in the 5 or 6 years that I’ve had it… so I cropped off maybe 7 inches from it and now it’s my favorite crop top.
I’m currently reading Haruki Murakami’s Dance Dance Dance. I must have collected about six or seven of his books by now. His writing is as weird and offbeat and surreal as ever.
My boyf thinks I don’t love him anymore. What do I do?
The Drums – Down By The Water
So a lot of people think this song is one about love and steadfast loyalty, which it is, I suppose.
But I choose to think that it’s probably something more. A troubled girl, maybe, and an unfortunate guy who happens to love her.
And if he never gives up on her,
What rights does she have giving up on herself?
Catching Fire
… I’m not quite sure what is the matter with me. I just feel like I could cry at the drop of a hat. Sigh. I can’t wait to go to sleep and then wake up and feel better.
Ah. :(
But for now, let me share with you something that usually cheers me up! The iPhone whales! :))) I would actually buy an iPhone just to be able to send out whale emoticons. Plus whales remind me of one of my best friends, haha. Some of my favorite iPhone whales:

I always try to attempt these using WhatsApp… but of course it doesn’t work on BlackBerry. :(

HEHEHEHE SO CUTE. ^.^

Because it’s Harry Potter lahh.

It’s funny because it’s a pun.
MY FAVORITE! :D Hee.
Okay, that’s about it. If you were having a really bad day, I hope that cheered you up.
Goodnight all!
We Are Always Dreaming
Time for sleeps, sugar.
Long day ahead tomorrow filled with more and more nothing.
It’s 5AM.
Long day ahead.
xx.
Take Me To Your Best Friend’s House

Yes, that is actually a star tattoo on my right wrist.
I have ten of those, actually.
People like to ask me, so, what do your stars mean? after they get over the initial shock of encountering a person so unstable she would tattoo ten tiny stars all over her body. I don’t actually know what I was thinking when I got those done. I mean, I knew I WANTED star tattoos, but really I only wanted about four or five at most. My tattoo artist, however, offered to do ten for RM200. That’s RM20 for one star (which is sort of cheap as hell, if you think about it). So I got ten. And I don’t really regret any of my stars – I mean, they’re so tiny I could easily cover them up with heavy foundation… but I’d probably cover them up with, yes, more tattoos. :)
Why stars, you ask?
I don’t know. They remind me of good things. They remind me of my dreams.

You’ve all met Anna, of course.
#3
WHAT? You have ten star tattoos?! You’ll never get anywhere in life.

Scarf – AEON Cheras Selatan, at one of those ground floor boutiques.

My plethora of rings. I have more.
This is actually the sort of clothes I wear on a daily basis. I wear dresses, like, once every 15 days. Yeah, I sell shitloads of dresses. What, you’ve never seen a hypocritical online blogshop owner moonlighting as a fashion enthusiast before?
Happy April, all.
