Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince!

and my verdict: best Harry Potter film ever made, and there’s been six. what do you mean “there’s no action in the movie”? there’s Quidditch and Katie Bell being possessed and lots of snogging and Dumbledore dying and the Weasley house being burnt down! (though that wasn’t in the book.)

it’s pretty obvious i’m a fan of the book, so i could be a little biased, but. you know :)

Why You Should Watch The Movie:

1. the british accent is so effing sexy.
2. cormac mclaggen is so effing sexy.
3. draco malfoy is so effing sexy.
4. emma watson is sort of sexy.
5. snape delivered excellent one-liners, as usual. (snape: “not so fast, potter.” harry: “oh professor, i’ve got to get back to my date … ” snape: ” … who can surely survive your absence for a minute or two.”)
6. luna is funny.
7. bellatrix is creepy. was that a kiss i saw she planted at the back of malfoy’s head in the astronomy tower scene?!
8. stunning visual.
9. ron is funny.
10. i wish i was british.
11. i wish i was british.
12. this is actually the only harry potter movie i enjoyed watching instead of compulsive obsessively making comparisons to the book throughout the film.
13. i wish i was british.
14. voldemort as a child was creepy.
15. this movie will make you wish you were british.

and it was good. it wasn’t brilliant or thought-provoking, but it passed ‘entertaining’ for a sci-fi/thriller/action movie, anyways. i can’t remember the past movies and i couldn’t grasp the whole time-travel shite, but the sweet part is that you don’t actually have to be a hardcore fan to like it :)

i take my words back.

i love this season.

i love the final five. i love it because all the annoying girls from the top twelve are out so i can actually stop cringing everytime i watch it now! and i was right when i said one of my favourites (Natasha, Ming, Juanita and Dawn) is going to win this competition.

god i love this girl :)

honestly, i think she’s great. i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again. i’ve liked her from the close auditions, even with the weird long ass hair. i like her even more now with that short cut. she’s got determination and drive. i know she doesn’t project her garang-ness into her pictures, but .. she still takes good shots. there’s room for improvement.

and yeah. i thought she was really brave about staying in the competition, despite her health complications. and somehow i can connect with her. she broke the no-handphone rule, but only because she wanted to patch things up with her boyf .. i think she’s been alright throughout the contest otherwise. she’s in it partly for herself, and partly to make her mom proud of her, for once. i can relate to that.

HAHAHA you know she looks so demure and petite and all, but honestly .. she’s the complete opposite during the phone conversations with her family.

anyways. i really like her too! it’s like, i don’t get it. she’s got a flat nose, like me. she’s got small eyes, like me. so why the hell am i not as pretty as she is??

i think it’s time she get over her braces issue. she’s got a great body, nice hair, beautiful face. she takes great pictures, and i can see that she’ll end up in the top 3.

(omg we share the same height and weight! except i think i’m at 41kgs now. … obviously we don’t have the same body vital stats. i’m flat. she’s not. screw this.)

and her dad sounds so cute haha :) he gets so intense talking about the competition and photos and blog comments i think ming doesn’t even get to say anything edgewise.

Juanita

i think this girl is seriously misunderstood.

either that, or she’s a real two-face.

well. i love her body. she’s got legs that go on and on. i think she’s really pro at modeling. her photos always turn out consistently great, and she does a mean catwalk .. so there’s no reason she won’t make it to the top three. even if she doesn’t win this, i’m pretty sure she can snap up modelling jobs on her own anyways.

Dawn

okay. her haircut for the Wella shoot was really weird.

anyways.

i think she’s been staying out of all the drama and catfights happening in the house, which is good. she seems really bubbly and chirpy all the time, so that’s good too. i don’t know where she gets her energy. her photos are alright to me. i don’t know. she’s got the height going on for her, but her photos are a little bland.

that said, i think she takes instructions really well, and she’s extremely focused. so. i don’t know. she’s not my favourite, but i think she’s got it going for her.

okay.

here’s the thing.

i kinda effing hate this season.

hate.

i don’t get it. how can girls like Acha be an engineering student and have such terrible command on english? how did Acha even get in? okay, sure, she’s sort of pretty but .. honestly! and i hate Denezia. if she wins this competition i will go and off myself. or never watch it again. i’m just done with episode 5 actually, so .. i’ve got 5 more to catch up. Farah SUCKED BALLS at catwalk. and okay, what the HELL on earth is Shasya doing in MDG2?? she is just. … i don’t know. she looks like Victoria Beckham .. only bigger.

Pinky gets on my nerves. mostly because her name is Pinky. and she’s so obviously a very i’m-so-kawaii type i do not see her doing normal fashion shoots at all, at least not of the MDG variety. Rajvin showed great potential .. it was really too bad she left the show so early :( she could have made it interesting. Liana and Maya were quite bland. i didn’t think the both of them should have made it into the Top 12.

so out of the 12 finalists, i already hate 7 of them. and 1 of them left voluntarily.

and hey, am i the only one who noticed that everything seems a bit too faked though? the way the girls talk to each other .. it’s like they had a script or something. what’s with all the weird accents? and what’s wrong with speaking malay if you can’t speak english fluently? Hanis from MDG1 spoke in malay most of the time .. she was one of the best from season 1. and i think MDG2 made a big mistake in letting zalikah go. she was that tiny petite thin one, with short hair .. she just completed her SPM. honestly! she was good! why didn’t she get to the top 12?!

first off.

i’m rooting on Natasha.

yes that girl who turned up in the audition wearing that denim mini and black top. that girl who just completed her o-levels. that girl with the long blond hair down to her ass .. and then had it all chopped off in the make over session. no honestly! if you look at her audition again, you’d see that she has an awesome terrific body. just awesome. and it really really helps that she speaks good english. she doesn’t look 18. i know her mugshot is a bit retarded looking because of her funny long ass hair, but after the makeover she was all good. she could win this, you know.

and Juanita post-makeover; one word – superhot.

i didn’t really notice her before her haircut, but AFTER her hair got chopped off, she stood out immediately. how come i never noticed she was so effing sexy? swear, if i turned lesbian full-swing, i would badly want to sleep with her. because she’s just so hot. and her catwalk was mind-blowingly good! i didn’t think she’d improve so much by a haircut.

i reallyreallyreally like Ming.

a) she speaks good english. b) she has flawless skin. c) she’s just so classically pretty. d) she may be the shortest, but she did a helluva catwalk and damn i really think she’s got a shot at this. the fact that she was trained with a dance background really helped her during the photoshoot .. she came up with very creative and different poses. so i really have no idea how the fuck Acha won the first official photoshoot, all because Acha took a pic squatting down. like wtf?

the last one is Dawn.

Dawn is .. alright. she’s got great dimples. edgy haircut that she can’t quite pull off, because she just looks so damn sweet and open all the time. she’s too bubbly for her own good, but oh well. she takes good pictures. she walks okay. she’s got an okay face, if a bit plain, and good body, good height. .. i guess she’s just alright. nothing too special for now, not really.

so yeah :) i’m betting on one of these four to win the competition.

but okay. i WILL take my word back if Acha ends up doing really well. she’s a little unpredictable. and don’t spoil the season for me! since i’m only on episode 5 :P yes i know i said i hate the season. but it’s addictive. so sue me.
